Our eco-friendly commitment is growing. We are happy to announce we are now using a carbon-neutral shipping company to deliver our products! You may have also noticed that nifty little badge at the bottom of our website showing we are committed to sustainable packaging.
That’s because we are upgrading our soap packaging to 100% home compostable and fast-acting biodegradable materials. Yes, you read that right! You can compost everything we send you (from the envelope mailer it arrives in to the wrapping on your soap) straight into your soil or let it biodegrade at the landfill.
Our upgraded eco-friendly mailers are printed on with algae ink, made with recycled paper, and can be composted at home. Yes, even the shipping label adhered to it is compostable!
All soaps moving forward will be wrapped in state of the art Biolefin™, a food-safe, compostable shrink wrap; which biodegrades in 3-5 years compared to most shrink wrap plastics which take decades in the landfill. We have upgraded to sticky soap labels, but they continue to be home compostable with plant-based adhesives made from sugarcane. Our mailers are made of those same biodegradable and compostable materials PLUS printed on with algae ink.
