From the start we have been dedicated to the environment. We want to maintain the natural beauty of our planet for generations to come.
That’s why Healing Moon Farm & Soapery keeps sustainability and environmental impact at the forefront of everything we do. From our small organic farming practices, to our handmade products.
Ingredients & Organic Farming
It starts with our awesome ingredients. We source all of our ingredients from sustainable farmers who use non-GMO crops. When palm oil is used, it’s RSPO compliant and sustainable. All of our recipes are made with fully biodegradable ingredients. Earth, skin, and environment friendly!
Our small farm adheres to USDA organic regulations and biodiversity best practices. We utilize rainwater collection, rotational planting for soil integrity, and collaborate with the Forestry Service for prescribed burns. We prioritize maintaining natural biodiversity. Ladybugs and organic neem oil safeguard our crops.
Our Process
No corporate sites or factories here, just a husband-wife team in our farmhouse kitchen (soon expanding to a retail storefront). Our products are truly small-batch and handmade.
We minimize waste by using reusable gloves, molds, and biodegradable soy wax kraft paper for soap and candle making.
All our farm products are hand-harvested by us. Our free-range chickens roam the open pasture freely, living their best lives.

Zero Waste Product Packaging
We use 100% oxo-biodegradable, phthalate-free, food-safe Biolefin™ to wrap our handmade soaps. Biolefin™ fully degrades into beneficial food for bacteria and micro-organisms, NOT micro plastics!
All product labels and their adhesive are made from biodegradable bagasse (a bi-product of sugar cane and hemp production).
Our candle jars are reusable with biodegradable corks and our eggs come in biodegradable pulp cartons.
