We finally got around to removing the wallpaper border in the farmhouse kitchen. The border has clearly been there since the house was built in the 80’s.
Here is how we removed it in 1 day:
We filled a bug sprayer with one part warm water and one part white vinegar
We sprayed the mixture along the wallpaper, being sure to wipe excess run off from the walls
We used a razor blade to cut the paper in one corner and began peeling the paper off in one piece
We made sure to re-apply the mixture to areas that did not come off easily
