We decided to take on a weekend project renovating our guest bathroom. Of course, budget-wise we needed to stick to something simple enough to DIY but nice-enough to be worth the effort. And of course, no Texas Farmhouse would be complete without shiplap!
We spent about $300 in materials and $200 in power tools. We purchased a hand saw outright and rented an air compressor and finishing nailer for the shiplap. The material cost includes: primer, paint, paint brushes and rolls, rolling pan, light fixture, electrical outlets (we changed them from almond to white), shiplap, nails, mirror, curtains and rod, shower curtain, putty knife (for removing the popcorn ceiling) and any accessories you see in the room.
We used Swiss Coffee by Valspar for the walls, Color changing ceiling paint for the ceiling, and charcoal washed shiplap behind the sink. We hope you like it!
